Day 1
Once you arrive in Colombo, check into your place of accommodation. Relax as you prepare for the adventures ahead.
To explore this famous city of Colombo, shop for regionally made crafts and souvenirs. Enjoy a couples’ therapeutic Ayurvedic massage together with your better half. Take a romantic cycling tour under the night sky of Colombo City!
Travel to Sigiriya, en route stop by the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Witness juvenile elephants in their native habitat and hear about the conservation efforts there.
Experience a first-rate hot air balloon flight over the right environment in Sigiriya (seasonal availability). In the evening, go on a safari in Minneriya National Park, where you will see a variety of creatures, including elephants and birds.
Take a morning hike at the renowned Sigiriya Rock Fortress to witness a breathtaking sunrise from the storied fortress. Travel to Kandy, make a delightful detour and get a relaxing massage for your head and shoulders at the Spice Garden. Attend a traditional dance performance to experience Kandy’s affluent culture at night.
On this day set out to explore the most sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic, which is revered across multi-faiths. Next, take a romantic stroll with your partner among the exquisite flowers of the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens. Later, engage in shopping whilst exploring the silk, gemstones, batiks, and wood carving shops. You can also witness the colourful handcrafted customs of Sri Lanka.
Begin your day with a beautiful train ride from Kandy to Hatton, passing through lovely tea estates and savouring each second with the one that you love. When you arrive, check into your comfy hotel and unwind. At night, experience a romantic candle-lit dinner under the stars whilst collectively making lasting recollections.
Take a leisurely stroll through the picturesque tea hills of Hatton, surrounded by lush flora and breathtaking views. Visit a historical tea plantation to learn about the complex methods of tea manufacturing, from plucking to processing. Engage with local tea pickers and gain insights into their daily workouts. End your stay with a freshly brewed cup of Ceylon tea in a cool, clean temperature, soaking in the calm environment of the hills.
Travel to Galle and discover the famous Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage site noted for its Dutch colonial architecture and seaside attractions. Take a peaceful boat ride down the Madhu River, surrounded by mangroves and numerous animals. As you wind down your day, spend a relaxing night in Galle’s picturesque surroundings.
Spend a relaxed day on Sri Lanka’s lovely beaches, basking in the sun and admiring the tranquil surroundings.
Hold tight to the memories created and you will be transferred back.
