Day 01 & 02
Begin your dream golf vacation in Colombo with a reservation at an opulent four or five-star hotel. Start your journey at the Royal Colombo Golf Club, where each round is played in front of breathtaking scenery that combines traditional charm and contemporary charm. The fresh morning air adds to the enchantment as you perfect your swing. As night falls, explore Colombo’s vibrant streets, immersing yourself in the city’s dynamic culture and thrilling atmosphere.
Travel from Colombo to Kandy, stopping at the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage en route for a unique experience by interacting with these majestic animals. When you arrive in Kandy, enjoy the serene environment of the Victoria Golf Club, which is surrounded by lovely hills. During the day, practice your golfing in Kandy’s beautiful environment earlier than seeing the city’s cultural highlights, which include the Temple of the Tooth Relic and colourful local markets.
On this day, you will journey to Nuwara Eliya, also called Little England due to its cold weather, windy surroundings and breathtaking conical structure, which is looking ahead to you in your interesting golf tour. Try your hand at golf at the famous Nuwara Eliya Golf Club, which is surrounded by verdant tea plantations and misty western highlands. Whilst travelling through the mountain range, spend some time enjoying the natural beauty of the area by doing activities like wandering by tea beds to tea shops, hiking to waterfalls, and seeing historical places.
Witnessing Sri Lanka’s shoreline whilst practising the location green combined with lovely weather and an experienced caddy is the highlight of this day. Conclude the day with a refreshing spa.
Leave Hambantota and head to Galle, where you visit the famous Fort, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Witness its colonial appeal and cultural heritage and go on a scenic boat ride along the Madhu River, watching the serenity of the environment with its mangroves. Complete your journey by visiting a turtle hatchery, where you will be in a position to see these wonderful creatures at close range and take part in conservation efforts.
